Hyderabad, August 19 : BJP state president G Kishan Reddy on Sunday appealed to Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy to fill vacancies at Mahatma Gandhi Medical Hospital of Warangal district.
In a letter addressed to the Chief Minister, Kishan Reddy said that there was severe shortage of expert doctors and infrastructural facilities in the hospital. Stating that the Cardiologist post was lying vacant since 15 years, he accused the government of showing discrimination towards government hospitals and giving priority to corporate hospitals in the implementation of Rajiv Arogyasree Health Scheme.
The BJP leader alleged that more than 170 persons were died in the hospital due to shortage of facilities in the cardiac ward in the last six months.
