Presidential polls: Court permits Jagan, Mopidevi for casting vote
Hyderabad, July 17 : The CBI special court on Tuesday gave its nod for casting vote in the Presidential elections for both YSR Congress party president and Kadapa MP Jagan Mohan Reddy and former Prohibition and Excise Minister Mopidevi Venkataramana. The special court announced this decision after the probing agency CBI never raised any objection for exercising franchise in the Presidential elections scheduled to be held on July 19. While permitting them for voting, the court directed the CBI to maintain tight vigil on the way to polling booth in Hyderabad and did not allow them to talk with anybody. Earlier, both Jagan Mohan Reddy and Mopodevi Venkataramana filed a petition in the special court seeking permission to cast their vote in the Presidential elections.
