Hyderabad, July 9 : AICC secretary and MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy on Monday said that the State Government’s move to extend legal aid to four tainted ministers in the controversial GOs, would put additional burden on the cash strapped State's exchequer. Talking to media persons at Assembly premises, Sudhakar Reddy appealed to the government reconsider its decision before extending legal help to tainted ministers. He suggested that the party should extend legal assistance to tainted ministers instead of the government. The AICC Secretary condemned "malicious" campaign of the BJP and CPI stating that voting in favour of UPA presidential candidate Pranab Mukherjee would mean opposing the Telangana State. Claiming that Pranab Mukherjee never opposed Telangana State formation anytime, he said that the Congress party would take a decision on the bifurcation of State after the conclusion of Presidential elections. He appealed to parties to participate in the voting of Presidential elections above politics. INN
